Ace of Wands Tarot Card Meaning
- inspiration
- new beginnings
- creative spark
- potential
Ace of Wands upright
The Ace of Wands is the spark of pure inspiration — a creative fire offered into your hand. You do not need a plan yet, only the willingness to pick it up. The rest will catch flame from the first step.
Ace of Wands reversed
Reversed, the Ace of Wands speaks of inspiration stalled — the spark felt but not yet tended. Do not wait for certainty. Strike the match; motion is what the fire needs.
How to read Ace of Wands
Ace of Wands belongs to the suit of Wands. The suit of fire: energy, creativity, ambition and the spark that gets things started.
Aces open the suit: a beginning, a gift or a chance, in the suit's purest form.
Upright, let its keywords guide the reading: inspiration, new beginnings, creative spark, and potential.
Reversed, the same themes are usually blocked, delayed or turned inward. Read the reversed meaning above with that in mind.
