Seven of Wands Tarot Card Meaning
- defense
- perseverance
- challenge
- standing ground
Seven of Wands upright
The Seven of Wands is the card of holding your ground. You have something worth defending, and the uphill position favours you. Speak plainly, stand steady; the challenge refines the conviction.
Seven of Wands reversed
Reversed, the Seven of Wands shows defences grown weary. You do not have to fight every battle. Choose the hill worth the climb and let the rest be.
How to read Seven of Wands
Seven of Wands belongs to the suit of Wands. The suit of fire: energy, creativity, ambition and the spark that gets things started.
Sevens ask for patience, reflection and standing your ground.
Upright, let its keywords guide the reading: defense, perseverance, challenge, and standing ground.
Reversed, the same themes are usually blocked, delayed or turned inward. Read the reversed meaning above with that in mind.
