Tracking your printed deck

How to follow your printed deck from the atelier to your door with your Tails tracking code, how to find your code if you've lost it, what each step means, and what happens if it runs late.

Every printed order gets its own Tails tracking code — it looks like TL-7K3D-92QX — and its own page showing exactly where your deck is. You'll find the code in your "on its way" email, on your order page, and in your account.

Where to find your tracking page

Open the link in your shipping email, or go to your order page and tap "Follow your deck's journey". The page updates by itself — you can leave it open on a delivery day and watch it move.

Lost your code?

Go to the tracking page and enter your tracking code or your order number. If you don't have either to hand, enter the email address you ordered with and we'll send your tracking links straight back to you.

What the steps mean

Once you approve your cards they go to our press: printed, cut, checked, and boxed. This is the part that takes the longest, and it's quiet by nature — so we show you what's happening as it happens rather than leaving you staring at a blank page. Collector's Editions have extra steps here (gilded edges, a numbered certificate, a sealed box), because they're genuinely finished by hand.

After that your parcel is collected by a courier, and every scan along the way appears on your page: arriving at a sorting facility, leaving it again, paperwork being signed off. Each one says what it means, how long it had been since the last update, and — once your parcel is in your country — the town it was scanned in. Once it lands we'll also show you the local courier and its reference, so you can arrange a redelivery or a pickup directly with them.

A few things are worth knowing about how the page reads. Some rows say "3 scans here" — that means the courier scanned your parcel several times in the same place, and we've told you once rather than repeating the row. And "Shipping label created" is not the same as "collected": it means the courier has registered your parcel and is about to pick it up.

Quiet stretches are normal. A parcel crossing borders can go days without a scan, exactly as it would on any courier's own page. We only ever show you real updates — we never invent one to fill a gap.

How long does it take?

Production takes 14 to 21 business days before shipping after you approve your deck for print, the Collector's Edition included. These are production windows, not arrival estimates. After dispatch, your tracking page shows an estimated arrival only when the courier supplies a delivery date.

If production is running late

If production passes its stated window, the tracking page will say so plainly and keep updating. It will never invent or revise an arrival date itself.

If production goes well past that, the page will invite you to contact us. Please do: send us your tracking code at support@tails-ai.com and we'll look at your specific order and make it right.

Is my tracking link private?

Your tracking code is unique and unguessable, and the page never shows your street address or your name. It's safe to keep, and safe to close: you can always come back to it from your order page, or look it up again at the tracking page.
