Cat memorial gifts that truly look like themEvery whisker, on every card.

Cats keep their own counsel, which is fitting: tarot was made for them. A memorial deck puts your cat at the center of every card, made from one photo you love.

In memory of a beloved cat

Remembering a cat as they were

A cat's character is all in the face: the slow blink, the judging stare, the tufted ears. That is why we start from your own photo and keep your cat recognizable on each card, whether they were a sleek black cat, a tabby with one white sock or a fluffy Maine Coon who filled the windowsill.

A memorial deck holds many scenes: your cat by a pool of starlight on The Star, in a warm garden on The Sun, watching from a high tower on The Hermit. Some people read with it; most simply keep it close, shuffle through it, and pull a card on the evenings the house feels too quiet.

If you are buying for a friend, you don't need to find a photo of their cat. Send the deck as a gift and they choose the picture themselves, whenever they feel ready. Many people tell us they waited a few weeks, and that choosing the photo became a small, comforting ritual of its own.

Why a deck makes a good cat memorial

  • Their own markings

Colors, patterns and eyes come from your photo, not a stock cat.

  • Small and personal

It fits in a drawer or a bag, and it's there whenever you want it.

  • Free to try

See your first card free in about a minute before deciding on anything.

Gift links work with the Personalized Tarot, the Personalized Oracle, the Pet Tarot and the Pet Oracle. For any other style, make the deck from a photo you have.

Ways people keep a cat memorial deck

There is no right way to use it. These are some we hear about most:

  • Frame The Star or The Sun and keep the rest of the deck in a box beside it.
  • Pull one card on their birthday or the day you brought them home.
  • Give a second copy to a family member who loved them too.
  • Keep the digital deck on your phone; the printed one stays at home.

Questions, answered

What can I give a friend who lost their cat?

Something about their cat in particular. With our gift link you buy the deck and your friend adds their favorite photo whenever they are ready, so you don't need a picture and they choose what feels right.

Will it look like my cat?

That is the point of it. The deck is made from your photo and keeps their markings and features. Your first card is free, so you can check before you buy.

What if a card doesn't look like my cat?

Tell us. Small fixes are always free, because the whole point is that it looks like them.

Which format should I choose?

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about your custom tarot deck

What cards are included in the deck?
Your deck includes all 78 cards — the 22 Major Arcana from The Fool to The World, plus the 56 Minor Arcana across four suits (Wands, Cups, Swords, Pentacles). Every card features the one you love, reimagined for that card.
Is my deck really one-of-a-kind?
Yes. Your deck starts from your own photo, so every card is unmistakably them — no two decks are alike, and yours is never reused. You choose the style, see the first card free before deciding, and can edit any card for free until it's exactly right. Commissioning a personal deck elsewhere typically costs $1,100–$25,000 and takes months. Yours is ready in minutes as a digital edition, and printed editions are made to order, just once, for you.
What kind of photo works best?
A clear, front-facing portrait with good lighting works best. Make sure your face is fully visible and not obscured by sunglasses or hats. Higher resolution photos produce better results.
What is the quality of the personalized cards?
Each card is created at 300 DPI in high resolution, suitable for both digital use and professional printing. We tune every deck for detailed, artistic results.
What influences the price of your decks?
There are two main factors. First, every deck is made individually from your photo using specialized creative systems tailored to the product, which is what delivers the quality you see. Second, printed decks include production costs. Decks are cheap when mass-produced, but printing one unique deck with one unique design is much more expensive. We create your deck only for you, and it is only produced once (unless you order copy decks). That is what makes printed decks premium. If you'd like to order 1000+ decks of the same design, please contact us at support@tails-ai.com and we'll beat any store's per-deck price.
How long does shipping take for the printed deck?
Printed decks are produced on premium 350gsm card stock and ship within 14-21 business days. Free worldwide delivery is included with every printed order.
What is your refund policy?
Every order comes with free edits in our built-in editor, so you can regenerate anything you don't love until it looks just right — and you can grab more edits anytime. Refunds are reserved for technical issues our team can't resolve, so if you ever get stuck, just email support@tails-ai.com and we'll sort it out.
Do I receive physical cards, or is this digital?
Every edition includes all 78 cards. Digital is a download of high-resolution card images, ready in minutes; the print-ready PDF adds a document sized for standard card stock so you can print locally. Want a real deck in your hands? Choose a printed edition: Standard on smooth card stock, Deluxe on premium 350gsm stock with a velvet pouch, or the Collector's Edition with gilded edges, a keepsake box, and a printed guidebook. Current prices are shown with each edition above.

Not Quite Right? Edit It.
